Gemini Exhibits Hot New DJ Products at 2007 Huvel ( Czech Republic)

Huvel , one of Czech Republics largest musical instrument and accessories, stage and studio technology tradeshows held this past September 13 th-15 th in Prague, was again a fantastic showing for Gemini. Supported by Dancefloor, Gemini’s official Czech Republic distributor, Gemini displayed their extensive line of new products and gave anxious attendee’s a chance to test out the units in their interactive booth.

One of the stars of the show was Gemini’s CDT-05 Professional Hybrid Turntable, the very first turntable of its kind to allow the simultaneous playback of both CD and Vinyl! DJ’s poured into the booth to witness first-hand, how accurate and smooth the turntable was.

Also on board were the new PS-626x, PS-424x and PS-121x Professional Stereo Mixers. Based off the look and feel of the original award-winning PS Series, but loaded with today’s loaded features, attendee’s tested out the units with excitement while taking a ‘trip down memory lane’.

Making a big impact as well was Gemini’s new MPX-40 Professional Touch – Sensitive MP3 / CD Player, and the new line of GX Series Speakers, which is guaranteed to further enhance your performance rig to the next level.

Alexis Taylor, front man with NME single of the year winners Hot Chip warms up the crowd for the Lovebox Weekender at the Art Vinyl Gallery in East London. Alexis mixed tunes from their DJ Kicks compilation along with some new Hot Chip & their hot off the mixing desk Kraftwerk remixes.

On September 17th, the Wielkie Joł (Music Works) and SonicDance moves forward with the education project HIP-HOP AKADEMIA. HIP-HOP AKADEMIA is a non-typical school of hip-hop culture, it is natural and cool!

The Academy offers adept cultural workshops and musical classes including:
- dancing studies with SonicDance group (instructors: Lukasz Wielgo, Jan Władon)
- dancing styles: Hip-Hop NewStyle, Oldschool, Streetdance
- workshops: hip-hop culture in Poland and in the world (instructor: Kamil "Jakuza" Jaczynski)
- DJ workshop (DJ Macu) - GEMINI

"The HIP-HOP AKADEMIA is the answer for many letters and questions. We have found a place in the Center of Culture Wola (Warsaw), where we can transfer this knowledge in comfortable conditions and share abilities of all interest" – added the founders of the "Hip-Hop Akademia.
