2006 WINTER NAMM A GREAT SUCCESS FOR GEMINI
Edison, NJ – January 31, 2005: This year’s showing at the 2006 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA was truly an amazing one. Over a thousand exhibitors came together for yet another year to show an array of new music products, from drums and guitars to speakers and of course, DJ equipment.

Gemini was no exception to this, unveiling an impressive booth display with some exciting new additions to their product line. The most impressive of which was the new CDT-05 Hybrid Turntable. As many in the industry well know, the CDT-05 has been in the works for quite sometime and NAMM marked the first time the public has been able to truly put this unit to the test. DJ Getdown and Chris Garcia were on location mixing, scratching, and showing attendees just what Gemini’s new gear can really do. In addition to the CDT-05, Gemini also unveiled the new CS-02 5-Channel Club Mixer, a new contender for high-end mixers that promises to turn some heads in the industry.

One other exciting debut was that of the iTrax Mixing Console for iPod®. Like its counterpart, the iTrax provides a platform to allow users to mix music from two iPods. Using the input switch, users can also plug in additional devices such as a turntable or a CD player and mix them in with just a flick of a switch. The iTrax also boast support for 5th Generation iPods, allowing users to send video out of the unit using the composite video output.

As attendees and exhibitors have long understood, there are plenty of chances to see some more than familiar faces at NAMM. Gemini had some great visitors to the booth including Bootsy Collins, Junior Sanchez, Naut Humon, and many others. Overall, Winter NAMM 2006 was a truly awesome show and a very successful one for Gemini. With the new product offering, Gemini left a lot of attendees on the edge of their seats waiting for the new gear to hit the market.
