Gemini UK is proud to announce the 12th annual “Extreme V” DJ Competition that will take place at this year’s PLASA Show in Earls Court, London, UK, on September 10th 2006.

This competition is open to amateur DJs attending PLASA, with no restriction on choice of musical style. Six contestants will be chosen by postal audition and another six will be chosen by on-site audition at Gemini’s booth (H66) which will begin at 10:00am. To audition by post, send in a CD containing 3 mixes (no longer than 5 minutes, please) to Gemini’s UK office, located at the following address:

Those who audition by post will be chosen by the end of August. All contestants will be notified of their status after the on-site auditions close, after which point all 12 of the chosen contestants will go head-to-head in 3 heats to compete for a place in the final. The heat winners will then advance to the final heat where they will compete with the 2005 champion.

Arrive early and make sure of your place in the Heats. This is the big one! Audition starts at 10.00. Competition starts at 12.00
