D&B DJ Competition:
UK OK


Drum & Bass Arena in association with the SAE institute UK & Gemini Sound Products sponsored the first national Drum & Bass Arena DJ competition. Six outstanding Drum & Bass DJ’s out of 100 performed at London’s The End club, West Central Street, London on March 11, 2005.


The winner of the DJ competition Chelsea-born, Edinburgh-bred DJ Samurai walked away with bragging rights until the next show as well as loads of free equipment. This prize package included a brand new pair of PDT-6000, digital direct drive turntables (four stars iDJ magazine), and a PMX-04 10” 2 stereo channel effects mixer (four & a half stars for the PMX series iDJ magazine) from Gemini Sound Products and a year long sound course at one of the global SAE Institutes. He also has the choice to play in the main room at the next Drum & Bass Arena party held at The End in July.
