DJ Little Charlie

As itís been a while since weíve issued an update on one of Geminiís youngest artists, we decided it was finally time to do so. Weíve received word that DJ Little Charlie has reached the age of 16 and has been as busy as ever. At the end of 2004, Charlie joined ManicFM.com, one of the UKís leading internet radio stations. His show can be heard every Saturday night from 6pm to 8pm. As one of the youngest DJs on the station, his show has become the most popular.

In addition to playing many clubs around the country, Charlie has enjoyed a monthly residency at Club Ego in Southend, which always brings a full-capacity crowd. On the international front, Charlie has been back to Ayia Napa while on tour with DJ Luck & MC Neat, as well as Faliraki and Malia for Summer 2005. Recently, Charlie has entered the realm of production. While producing his own tracks, heís also been known to do remixes which have been played by top DJs in clubs and over the airwaves.

His current studio consists of (2) PDT-6000 Turntables, (2) CD1800X Tabletop CD Players, an FX-7000 Mixer, P700 Amplifier and two UX1620 microphones. On his PC he uses Reason 3.0, Fruity Loops and Cubase VST. Through all the club dates and radio shows, Little Charlie still manages to keep up with his school work. He was voted 4th best up-and-coming DJ in a competition on Radio 1xtra, but couldnít attend the final because he had to study for his GSEs.
